*Blade Finishes

Blasted: The blade is blasted with a fine media to produce a consistent matte finish. This removes any scratches or “snail trails” and adds a slight amount of texture to a knife’s previously smooth handle. Will show new scratches that occur during use.

Tumbled (Stonewashed): The blade is tumbled with an abrasive media to produce a “worn” look. This will help hide scratches that occur during use, but will not remove previous scratches.

Blasted + Tumbled (Stonewashed): The blade is first blasted with a fine media, then tumbled with an abrasive media. This removes previous scratches, and adds an even tumble pattern.

Acid Stonewash: This is a multi step process. The knife is disassembled and thoroughly cleaned, detent track and pivot area is sealed off, and then your blade is acid washed to give a darker aesthetic. Your blade is then tumbled in various media to give a distressed / worn look. This option helps hide scratches from use.

Satin Flats: The flat surfaces of your blade is passed over a high speed belt sander that creates a highly polished effect. This is not like a mirror polish – grind marks can still be seen with surface facing. Flat surfaces only.

*NOTE: A $25 fee applies to any item that requires disassembly and reassembly. Price stated is for loose blades only. Not all services require disassembly. Many services can be combined to create outstanding finishes for both aesthetics and durability.

Instructions for Sending in your Knives (Do NOT send Automatic Knives through USPS – use UPS or FedEx). It is recommended that you insure your packages for the replacement value of the products. Include your order number and choose your shipping option.
